Battery charging & maintenance

Your straightening brush charges in 3 hours via its USB Type-C cable, on a 5 V – 2 A adapter. An indicator light shows you the progress: it turns off once charging is complete.

To preserve your device's battery life over time:

  • Fully charge before first use. This calibrates the lithium battery.
  • Unplug once charging is complete. Leaving the device plugged in constantly accelerates battery wear.
  • Do not systematically discharge to 0%. Recharge as soon as the level becomes low rather than waiting for it to completely shut down.
  • Use a 5 V – 2 A charger. A more powerful adapter (smartphone fast charger, laptop) does not speed up charging and can damage the battery.
  • Charge at room temperature, away from moisture and heat sources.
  • In case of prolonged non-use, recharge the device approximately every 3 months to prevent deep discharge.

Good to know: a full charge offers up to 35 minutes of continuous use, which is more than enough for several touch-up sessions.

FAQ

1. Is it suitable for my hair if it's thick or curly?

Yes. The three temperature settings (160 to 200 °C) allow for heat adjustment: 160 °C for fine or colored hair, 200 °C for thick, curly or unruly hair. For very frizzy hair, several slow passes are necessary for a smooth result.

2. Does heat damage hair?

Ceramic plates distribute heat evenly and prevent hot spots that can cause breakage. Use the lowest temperature that gives you the desired result, and apply a heat protectant before styling.

3. How long does the battery last and can I take it on a plane?

A full charge provides up to 35 minutes of continuous use, which means several touch-up sessions. The device can only be carried in the cabin – like any device with a lithium battery, it is prohibited in checked baggage.
